About the Role
AnaJiva BioPharma is building a portfolio of high-quality AYUSH and herbal healthcare products. We are looking for an experienced AYUSH Supervisor to lead AYUSH-compliant manufacturing, phytomaterial research, product formulation, regulatory documentation and production supervision.
You will be the company’s AYUSH expert, making sure every product is backed by sound research, made to GMP standards and fully compliant with AYUSH regulations, from raw herb to finished product.

Key Responsibilities
AYUSH Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with all AYUSH guidelines, regulations and quality standards.
Prepare, review and submit documentation for AYUSH licences, approvals and renewals.
Coordinate with regulatory authorities on inspections and compliance requirements.
Maintain the records and documentation needed for audits and licensing.
Product Development & Research
Lead research and development of plant-based phytomaterials and herbal formulations.
Contribute to the design, testing, validation and improvement of AYUSH products.
Evaluate raw materials, herbal extracts and formulations for quality, efficacy and compliance.
Work with cross-functional teams on product innovation and commercialisation.
Production Supervision
Supervise day-to-day manufacturing of AYUSH products.
Ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, quality standards and production schedules.
Monitor batch manufacturing records and production documentation.
Drive process optimisation and continuous improvement.
Quality & Documentation
Maintain accurate technical, regulatory and production documentation.
Ensure full traceability of ingredients and finished products.
Support internal and external quality audits.
Prepare reports on production, quality assurance and regulatory submissions.
Qualifications & Experience
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in an AYUSH discipline (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BNYS or an equivalent recognised qualification).
At least 5 years of experience across AYUSH manufacturing operations, herbal and phytomaterial R&D, product formulation and process development, regulatory compliance and licensing, and production supervision.
Strong knowledge of AYUSH regulations and licensing procedures.
Understanding of GMP, quality systems and manufacturing practices.
Proven ability to supervise production teams.
Excellent documentation, reporting and regulatory filing skills.
Preferred
Certifications recognised by AYUSH regulatory authorities.
Experience with herbal extract standardisation and analytical testing of botanicals.
