About the role
SFT Realty LLC is looking for a Construction Manager to run projects from planning to completion in South Jersey. You will split your time between the office in Voorhees and project sites in the Voorhees and Franklin areas, and own schedules, budgets, contractors, materials and township approvals.
What you’ll do
- Plan and manage projects end to end: schedules, budgets and work plans.
- Prepare and submit permit and approval applications to townships, and attend inspections and meetings with township officials.
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, architects and engineers.
- Source materials and equipment, get competitive quotes and manage deliveries, including picking up materials when needed.
- Visit sites regularly to supervise work, quality and safety.
- Review invoices, track costs and report project status.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or a related field.
- 5+ years in construction and project management.
- Experience working with townships or municipal offices on permits and approvals, ideally in New Jersey.
- Ability to read drawings and specifications, with strong budgeting and cost control.
- A valid driver’s license, your own reliable vehicle, and the ability to drive a car or pickup truck between the office, sites and suppliers.
Nice to have
- PMP, CCM or OSHA safety training.
- Experience on agricultural, residential or mixed-use projects.
Work arrangement
- Full-time, in the office and in the field across South Jersey (Voorhees and Franklin areas).
- 1099 independent contractor preferred; W-2 employment considered.
